Day 13: Work in Progress: Nighthawk(ers) 1/3 (with apologies to Edward Hopper) #30daysofcreativity
There's a 24 hour McDonald's near my place (where I also go for food) which looks almost like the unnamed diner of Edward Hopper's famous Nighthawks masterpiece. This has inspired me to start a possible series of late night eating places I've observed. Who knows whether I'll finish them, but here's a work in progress for the actually-very-lonely- McDonalds near my block where people go to study and watch late night soccer on a large LCD TV.
First time painting in Photoshop - thought I might give it a shot and see how it rolls. A lot more control, but less natural-mediumy. Not sure I have a preference yet. Definitely slower a process than Artrage, which is what I'm already used to.
